Our hunting area is a combination of brushy draws, wooded areas, corn, soybean and alfalfa fields. Each hunting party will receive their own tract of land to hunt. These tracts are divided up in 80-260 acre parcels.
We have placed over 200 archery stand sites consisting of ladder stands and lock-on stands. The stands vary in height from 15’ to 30’. All lock-on stands have climbing sticks for easy access.
Early reservations are strongly suggested to ensure your choice of dates. Your hunting date will be reserved as soon as we receive your deposit of 50% of your hunt cost. The remainder of the cost to be paid by August 1. Deposits are non-refundable, however in the event you do not receive your deer tags, your deposit will be carried over 1 year.
Licenses are not included in the price of the hunt. Out of state archery and gun permits are sold by lottery drawing through IDNR and applications can be found online atwww.drn.state.il.us.
Hunters will be allowed to arrive at 10:00 am on the date their hunt is scheduled to begin. Upon arrival a brief orientation will be given to each group covering rules and regulations, licensure, and safety. Each hunter will sign a waiver of liability and complete registration forms for the IDNR. After a brief tour of the facility each group will be assigned quarters and be allow to unload. As soon as your group is unloaded, one of our guides will show you a map of the area you will hunt and discuss ideal locations for you to hunt. Our goal is to have our hunters in the woods by mid-afternoon on their arrival day.
If you arrive earlier than your scheduled arrival day, you will be charged an additional $60.00 for room and board.
A kill fee will be charged in the amount of $500 for any deer taken that does not meet the minimum requirement of 130”.
If an animal is wounded while hunting and tracking has been unsuccessful within a reasonable amount of time, you are to notify one of the guides immediately so a search can be implemented.
Our hunting lodge is a newly renovated school building. The lodge will feature a large common room, complete kitchen, spacious sleeping quarters, plenty of bathrooms and showers, washer & dryer, satellite TV, DVD Player. Clean linens and meals will be provided.
Hunting will not be allowed before your scheduled arrival date. Our properties are on a rotation schedule to allow a resting period for both the game and the property.

Hunters must depart by 10:00 am on the last day of their scheduled hunt. This allows for a smooth transition from one week to the next and lets us better prepare for the next group’s arrival
